A fully accommodated, guided safari at a budget price!!! Be transported in a fully air-conditioned vehicle then stay in an air-conditioned bungalow with en-suite bathroom inside the famous Kruger National Park, at one of the most popular camps in the Park.
All daily game drives are included in the price and are conducted in a specially designed open safari vehicle with a highly experienced safari guide. Our guides are legendary - have an experience of working in the park before venturing into private safaris and this is without doubt our biggest selling point - a good well experience guide makes a huge difference to your safari experience. The guide will help you to spot the animals and will interpret their full behaviour and explain fascinating details about the bush around you. During each morning drive you can enjoy a scrumptious mid-morning bush brunch, at one of the camps or picnic sites in the Kruger Park.
Accommodation is in clean, comfortable thatched bungalows with 2 or 3 beds. Each unit has air conditioning, ceiling fan, private bathroom, mosquito screens, fridge and veranda or there may be other accommodation options depending on the camp available, like 2-bedroom guest cottages, or permanent safari tents with en-suite bathroom (with electric fan but without aircon). Luxurious accommodation options are also available at extra cost.
Various optional extras can be arranged, including guided bush walks in the Kruger Park, and night drives with powerful search lights on an open safari vehicle, looking for leopards, lions and other nocturnal animals.
Day 1:
Guests are met on arrival at OR Tambo international airport or collected from the hotels or place of residence at around 08:00 the we drive on the Scenic Panorama route to the entrance of the Kruger National Park. Here we'll then start our game viewing still on our air conditioned vehicle and we look for blue wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, elephants and various antelope species on our way to our rest camp, where we arrive before sunset. After checking, we enjoy a superb dinner in the camp restaurant. Have a good sleep to the sound of bush babies craying or lions roaring in the distance and not forgetting the laughing hyenas.
Day 2 & 3:
Full day game drives, or morning and afternoon game drives in the Kruger National Park, filled with the excitement of seeing Africa's wildlife in their natural habitat, from the safety of an open safari vehicle. Whether it's lion, elephant, giraffe or the variety of birds and smaller animals that can be seen, we guarantee you a fascinating and satisfying safari experience in this vast African wilderness area. While looking for the big 5 and other wildlife, we stop at waterholes, view points and picnic sites where you can stretch your legs and enjoy some refreshments. On some safaris, we visit the waterhole where the famous Battle at Kruger video was filmed. On each drive, we provide mineral water and soft drinks free of charge. Dinners are enjoyed in the camp restaurant, or may take the form of a traditional South African 'braai' (barbecue), expertly prepared by your guide, a real feast under the stars (weather permitting).
Day 4:
In morning we pack up early and head out on a final early morning game drive in a fully air conmditioned vehicle in search of wildlife that may have eluded us thus far. We hope to see leopard, wild dogs, lions and other rare species of wildlife. Breakfast is served at a picnic site along the way or in one of the camps, and we exit the Kruger Park during late morning to begin our journey back to Johannesburg. The transfers to and from Johannesburg are conducted in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle. Normally we arrive in Johannesburg by 16h00 p.m.
It is also possible to depart from Nelspruit at the same cost.
